Chocolate Pecan Cookies

 1 cup Unsalted butterRoom temperature
 1 ½ cups Dark brown sugarPacked
 ½ cup Sugar
 2 Eggs
 2 tbsp Vanilla paste
 3 cups Flour
 1 tsp Baking soda
 ¼ tsp Baking powder
 1 tsp Salt
 2 ½ cups Dark chocolate chips
 1 cup PecansChopped
 Flaky sea salt For garnish

Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit, and prep a cookie sheet with a piece of parchment paper. While oven is preheating, begin cookie dough prep

In a bowl, cream room temperature butter. Once butter is fluffed, add in sugars and mix until combined
Add in eggs and vanilla and mix until well combined

Slowly Mix in flour, baking powder and soda, and salt.
Once a dough forms, fold in chocolate chips and nuts

Using a small cookie scoop, scoop out 1.5 ounce

Bake for 12-13 minutes, until gooey on top and golden brown on the bottom. Once out of the oven, tap pan on the counter to flatten cookies and sprinkle with sea salt. Let cool for 10 minutes before serving.
